Critical Praise for STRAIGHTJACKET:
The story is dreamy, and romantic, but also incredibly thought-provoking…As a debut novel, this is simply stunning and gorgeous.
Tiffany Harkleroad, book reviewer at Tiffany’s Bookshelf
Meredith Towbin’s new YA novel, STRAIGHTJACKET, is sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat, double-take good. So well written, it is almost impossible to believe this is Towbin’s first novel.
Kathy Love, book reviewer at For the Love of Lit
Towbin is spot on with the YA genre. This is a perfect book for brooding teenagers.

STRAIGHTJACKET is author Meredith Towbin’s debut novel and she is going
to be a force to be reckoned with in the literary world!
When I read the synopsis for this book, I never once imagined it would affect me this strongly, so it completely took me by surprise when I found myself emotional over Caleb and Anna’s journey.
Anna is one of the best YA female characters that I have read…Anna is pure perfection! Everything else that happens in the story just a bonus.
Angels have been done so many times before in YA, but this time it was done somewhat differently…it wasn’t the same old love story between a girl and fallen angel and I enjoyed the fact that it was different.
This was the kind of book that really surprised me. It took a completely different turn than I thought it was going to, which is so, so refreshing in today’s world.
Lindsay Leggett, Burning Tree Reads
For such a quick read, it truly packs a punch. I can’t wait to read more by this author; this book has left its imprint in my heart.
Meredith Towbin will touch you with this imaginative and slightly different YA novel.
This was such a wonderful story. It’s heartwarming but at the same time, extremely heart-wrenching.
A beautiful story of love and healing. I couldn’t put this book down! You will fall in love with these characters and root hard for them.
Amy Christenson, Amazon review
I really connected with the characters and the storyline kept me interested. I dealt with some of these issues personally as a teen, and it really hit home for me.
